Dr. Sivakumar .R and Dr. Hema Sivakumar started their humble clinical practice with a small clinic in busy street around Madurai Meenakshi temple Thavittuchandhai in 1997. Later it was housed in KK nagar, Madurai as 6 bedded nursing home & fully functioning operation theatre equipped with C Arm in 2000.

Preethi Hospital was established in 2007 as 70 bedded four storied hospital opposite to Mattuthavani Bus stand. This was a equipped with theaters separate laminar airflow system exclusively for Arthroplasty and Spine surgery. It had 7 bedded ICU with Three ventilators. At the peak about 2200 surgeries per annum were performed (250 joint replacement, 200 Spine cases, 150 Sports Injuries).
